Cartagena

Easter
Pretty
Interesting
Cartagena

Eek, getting a wee bit behind in the old blogging. Too busy having a good time! This post and the next will be short and sweet as they are just city stops, in Cartagena and Medellin, and while we've seen interesting stuff, nothing really of note has happened here.

Cartagena is a beautiful colonial, old walled city, with tiled roofs, balconies and flower-filled courtyards. We spent a lot of time strolling the narrow streets (get turned around), enjoying pretty buildings, and chilling out in lovely restaurants. I tried going to the Gold Museum during our stay as apparently it's worth a sconce, but unfortunately it was closed over the Easter period.

A small group of us stopped off in a tiny bar one night; it looked like someone's dining room. A large bottle of rum was bought and salsa dancing was attempted.
